About the Journal
Journal of AI Safety, Ethics, and Alignment Science (JASEAS) will specialise in the rapidly growing field of AI safety and alignment, providing a dedicated venue where technical, ethical, legal, and governance perspectives meet. It is intended to attract submissions that go beyond performance metrics and focus on reliability, robustness, and social impact of advanced AI systems. By integrating theory, empirical studies, and policy analysis, the journal aims to fill the current gap between computer-science outlets and ethics or law journals, and to serve as a reference platform for regulators, industry, and researchers developing trustworthy AI infrastructures.
This journal covers the following topics, but not limited to:
- Theoretical and practical foundations for AI safety and alignment.
- Interpretability, transparency and traceability of advanced AI systems.
- Risk assessment, failure modes and accident analysis in real world AI deployment.
- Governance frameworks, regulation and standards for trustworthy AI.
- Ethical, legal and societal implications of autonomous decision making.
- Oversight, human control and psychological aspects of AI interaction.
- Benchmarking, red teaming, bias mitigation and evaluation protocols.
- Alignment methods and case studies across industrial and public domains.
