Call for Editorial Board Members: Map the Mind and Behavior in the Digital Age
The new journal Digital Life, Cognitive Health, and Behavioral Futures warmly invites applications for its Editorial Board. DLCHBF is committed to deciphering a central question of our digitally saturated era: how pervasive digital technologies profoundly and systematically alter how we think, act, and evolve as a society. We move beyond studying single platforms in isolation, championing multi-level, complex-systems analyses that treat "digital life" as an integrated exposure.
We seek scholars with the following qualities to join our editorial leadership:
-
Research Interests: Effects of smartphones, social media, gaming on cognition across the lifespan; digital addiction & compulsive behaviors; algorithmic curation, echo chambers & online identity formation; neurocognitive mechanisms of screen exposure & multitasking; digital wellbeing interventions & preventive strategies; methodological tools for measuring online behavior & academic/productivity outcomes; public health & regulatory responses to digital environments; ethical & philosophical implications of digital life.
-
Roles & Responsibilities: Help solidify the journal's unique integrative research paradigm, attract high-quality interdisciplinary submissions, ensure scholarly depth and methodological rigor in reviews, and shape issues focusing on significant real-world problems.
-
Value of Joining: Become a leader in a vital scholarly conversation, find a natural multi-disciplinary home for your research, and collectively generate insights that can impact individual wellbeing and public policy.
We welcome you to join us as a Founding Editorial Board Member and help chart the new map of human development in the digital age.
