Recruiting Editorial Board Members

International Journal of Modern Languages and Cultural Communication (IJMLCC) is a newly launched open access journal. We are now inviting expressions of interest from qualified scholars to join our Editorial Board. As a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal, IJMLCC publishes cutting-edge research on language, communication, and cultural studies in modern global contexts. We seek dedicated academics who are passionate about shaping scholarly dialogue and advancing the journal’s mission.

Editorial Board Member Responsibilities include:

  • Advising the Editor-in-Chief on journal scope, policy, and strategic direction.
  • Identifying emerging trends and topics within the field.
  • Serving as an Academic Editor to conduct initial pre-screening of submissions.
  • Recommending and helping to maintain a pool of high-quality reviewers.
  • Actively encouraging submissions from peers and colleagues.
  • Contributing to the journal through submissions of original work or reviews, where appropriate.

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • Holding a PhD or equivalent.
  • A strong record of research and publication in fields related to modern languages, linguistics, cultural studies, communication, or adjacent disciplines.
  • Previous editorial or peer-review experience with academic journals (not a strict requirement for outstanding early-career researchers).
  • An active professional network within relevant academic communities.
  • Commitment to promoting scholarly integrity, diversity, and interdisciplinary dialogue.
  • Ability to provide timely, constructive feedback on submissions.
